don't know if we can talk about her here after reading your mission statement. she is not in your time window, yet she is a pioneer. i love her stuff, not all of it, but love the fluxus years and love her book grapefruit. i loved lennon in college, i love yoko now.

past pioneers and the women that followed them.
there was a yoko retrospective at the sf moma in 2002-OMG!!! I had no idea she was so versatile. her work was incredible! very inspiring, very innovative. she treaded ground not many women or men dared to enter. thanks for highlighting her!
